Thank You Card with Timber Stamp

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it!  It’s Andrea with you, and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m sharing a thank-you card featuring a fun image from the new Timber set.

After stamping that fella with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored him with Copics and cut him out with the coordinating dies.  This may be a thank-you card, but it would appear Christmas was on my mind with my color choice!

For my background I embossed an A2-panel of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock with the Basket Cover Die.  I have a Big Kick, so to emboss with the die, I used a silicone mat and a cardstock shim along with my plates to prevent the die from cutting into the paper.  I distressed the edges of the panel with tan ink and adhered it to a kraft cardbase.

I created my sentiment with the Thanks Dies and Thanks to You stamp set.  I die-cut “thanks” twice from red cardstock and layered the two pieces together.  After white heat-embossing a sentiment from Thanks to You, I die-cut it with the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 2 Dies.  I adhered the embossed and die-cut sentiments to my card, popped up my colored image with foam tape, and finished with a few green enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful holiday!  Be sure to check out the Black Friday sale going on; it is an amazing deal!
