Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here with a cute Autumn greetings card featuring the Fall Friends stamps and coordinating dies along with the Stitched Top Notes dies. I really enjoy stacking dies with the faux stitching and this set has such a unique shape. Perfect for layering, it gives a very special look even to an otherwise quite simple card.
I started with Copic colouring the cute hedgehog holding a sunflower and another 2 sunflowers from the set. I cut them out wit the coordinating dies. I don’t like to fussy cut and these dies cut the images in a way that the edges are so perfect and rounded! I love the look!
Then I selected 2 patterned papers in coordinating colours from the Pumpkin spice paper pad. I cut a stitched rectangle from on and a small Top Notes one from the other. I also die cut a bigger Top Notes one from lime green cardstock to mat the focal panel. I assembled the scene using liquid glue and 3D foam squares. I also raised up the smaller Top Notes die cut with 3D foam squares for added dimension.
I heat embossed a sentiment on a yellow banner using brown embossing powder. I mounted it on the card with 3D foam squares again.
As a finishing touch, I emphasized the eyes and nose of the hedgehog with a black glaze pen, added some white gel pen highlights here and there. I also covered the petals with a clear shimmer pen and added glossy accents to the middle of the sunflowers.
