Hi again! Annie here with a summer-y sneak peek made using more soon-to-be-released stamps from a set called “Mermaids”. I loved all of the little graphic elements in this set, so I decided to forgo the coloring this week and just have fun stamping out this pretty and sparkly panel.
I blended several colors of Distress Ink over the coral, seaweed, and shell images after embossing them in pearl. Then I adhered this stamped panel onto some glittery paper before attaching it to my black card front.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed in silver…I really wanted to use silver glitter embossing powder to match my glittery mat, but it just made the sentiment slightly illegible and the silver matched closely enough anyway. To finish off the card, I added a few pearls that I colored to match my panel.
