Red Ombre Christmas Cards | Eskimo Kisses

Hello Everybody!
It’s Ksenija here and I am sharing a super easy recipe for spectacular Christmas cards with the Eskimo Kisses stamps and co-ordinating dies set.

This simple recipe does not require masterful colouring skills or many craft supplies. In a short time I made two one layer cards with slightly different embellishments.

My today’s recipe combines the two hottest trends of the coming Holiday Season for Clean and Simple cards.

Red colour card notes and dramatic ombre blending for creating a spotlight around a focal image are in vogue now!

I started with stamping sentiments down to a bright red card notes and heat embossing them with fine white powder. Then I die cut two eskimo girls from the Eskimo Kisses set and stamped the image in black alcohol marker friendly ink. I coloured both die cuts with Copic markers almost flat.

To create dramatic background for the eskimo girls I blended dark red dye ink over the front side of both card notes and then added black ink along the edges.

To finish off my cards I scattered coarse gold embossing enamel over one card and heat set it from beneath, and sprayed gold paint – over the second card.

As  final step I foam mounted the girls to the card notes.

Are you ready to make a red ombre Christmas card with the Eskimo Kisses stamps and dies set?

Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!
