Hello Everyone!
Ksenija is here today. I will share a really quick to make pretty friendship card.
To make this card you will need just a few tools and very basic card making skills. I used four adorable kittens’ images from Catitude stamps set.
Start with diving the card panel into four equal rectangles and using Post It notes make a mask for the first rectangle.
Now softly blend in one Distress ink shade. Apply ink until you cover well the free space.
Remove the masking sheets and repeat this step for each rectangle. I suggest using only three shades of ink to avoid colour chaos. I picked shades close to Post It notes colours.
I deliberately masked off rectangles a bit inaccurately to make the card less formal.
Now die cut four cats with help of co-ordinating dies and stamp images from Catitude stamps set with alcohol marker friendly inks.
Colour images with alcohol markers. My best advice is to use shades of markers close to the inked background shades.
Stamp the sentiment from Catitude stamps set ink black ink down onto the card panel and glue the panel to a neutral colour card note. Soft grey card note helps to make the card panel stand out.
To finish off the card pop the kittens’ images up with a thick foam tape.
Three reasons I call this card Post It Notes Card:
- I used Post It Notes paper to mask off the card panel
- Colours of my rectangles remind of Post It Notes
- This is an encouragement-reminder card for a good friend
