Pink Flamingo Christmas Card!

Good morning friends and welcome back!!  Laurie here sharing a super non-traditional Christmas card with you!!  This card features products from the October release in cool colours of pink and turquoise. While I love red and green for Christmas, sometimes it’s nice to mix things up a bit!

I started by colouring up the super cool flamingo from the Deck the Palms Stamp set and used the co-ordinating die to cut it out.  This is one of my all time favourite Christmas sets. The images are adorable!

I coloured the wreath around the flamingos neck using Blue Green Copic markers which was sort of my jumping off point with this card.  For the background, I used the Wreath Base Dies and cut two of the wreath shapes out of white cardstock. I blended Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on them which happened to be almost a perfect match to the copic colours!

I adhered certain portions of the wreath to the card base and trimmed off the excess. I think this gave the card a tropical feel as it kind of looks like vines.  The sentiment was stamped ombre style with two shades of pink ink and of course, that flamingo had to be adhered with foam tape for some dimension!!

I added Glossy Accents to a few parts of the flamingo and a few of my favourite Glossy Dots from the Rainbow collection!!

I hope you enjoyed my non-traditional Christmas card!! Thank you so much for stopping by this morning!!

See you soon!!

Laurie
