Pawsitive Catitude

Hello Everyone, it is Zsofi here today with a fun card for cat lovers. I adore these cute images from the Catitude stamp set! I wanted them to take centre stage on my card, so I kept my scene pretty simple.

I started with stamping the images on Copic friendly cardstock, and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The dies give them a rounded edge which would be impossible to achieve with scissors – that is why I am fond of coordinating dies.

I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Beach Babe paper pad to be slightly smaller than an A2 sized card front. I die cut a white frame to hold my scene. For the grass I used a Lacy border die cut from green cardstock. I popped up the frame with foam tape to get more dimension.

The sentiment is stamped with back ink directly on the background, I just embellished it with some of the hearts from the same stamp set. I added a tiny bit of glossy accent to the flag and the bottom of the hearts and made the nose of the cats shiny with a black glaze pen. When it was all done, I adhered it to a kraft card base.

I hope you like this cute little card and will try to build a scene with minimal supplies. See you soon, till then happy crafting!
