Pink & Main’s May Release is blooming with a garden full of beautiful flowers!! Kathy here with a sneak peek featuring three new floral dies and background die! The entire new release is available on May 20th!
Daisies just make me happy! The new Daisy Die is big, bright and super easy to put together. I layered the flower onto the new floral background die which I ’embossed’ vs. cut by adding another layer of cardstock in my die cut machine. To finish, I added the Smile word die.
Don’t you just love pansies?! They come in so many beautiful colors. For this card, I chose a classic purple color to use with the new Pansy Die, again layering the flower onto the new floral background die which I ’embossed’. To finish, I added the Hello word die.
Following the same design for my last card, I cut bright red cardstock for the flower in the new Mum Die and finished with the Thanks word die.
Hello, crafty friends and welcome back! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the incredible sneak peeks! This upcoming release is going to blow you away!! There is so many beautiful stamps and dies coming your way!
Today, I’m showing you a look at the new Daisy Dies. This simple flower die has a ton of possibilities. I LOVE using die sets like this to create gorgeous focal points on cards. I made a very simple yet elegant wedding card that features this beautiful bloom.
I inked up the background with some simple stripes using a light pink ink and a piece of scrap typing paper. All you need is a straight edge to create these stripes. I die cut the daisy and leaves out of white cardstock and used a darker shade of pink and a light green ink.
The sentiment comes from a new set called Bundle of Joy and was stamped onto a banner which comes from the Sweet Bouquets Die Set.
And because I gold heat embossed the sentiment, I just had to add a few Gold Glossy Hearts!
I hope you are as excited about this release as the entire design team is!!
Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m sharing a sneak peek of the beautiful Flower Cover Dies available this month on release day. I’m in LOVE with this large cover die. Making a stunning floral card has never been easier.
I started my card off by die cutting the large cover die twice on white card stock. I adhered these two pieces together to give my cover some thickness. I pulled out a fun background panel I created awhile ago using the Pink and Main Sprinkles background stamp and distress oxide inks. I stamped the background with Versamark ink and sprinkled on some sparkly embossing powder. This panel was perfect to use because it gives my card some sparkle under my flowers however it doesn’t compete with the design of my card. I adhered this flowery panel to a white card base.
For added color I die cut three additional flowers from the flower dies in this set. I colored two of them with abandoned coral and wild honey distress oxide inks. The other one I colored with tumbled glass. I adhered these flowers to a few already on the cover plate and added some black sequins to be the middle of these flowers. A simple greeting from the Party Balloons stamp set was the final touch to this card.
You can really see the sparkles of the sprinkles in this shot of my card. It’s so pretty. Adding really soft backgrounds with texture is a perfect pair for this flower cover dies set.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please leave us a comment on how you would use this beautiful set. Have a great day everyone.
Hey, everyone! It’s Lynnea! The May release from Pink & Main is right around the corner! It hits the shop on May 20th! The quickest way to find the whole new release is to visit the “new” tab on the website!
I was immediately drawn to the Bundle of Joy stamp set from the new Pink & Main release because it’s perfect for babies – but there’s an option to build your sentiment around adoption. I think this is something that is commonly left out of baby sets and it’s something near and dear to my heart. I won’t go into details about my journey to have a family – but my son’s 2 year adoption day is coming up at the end of July. He is my world and when we were going through our adoption process my friends mentioned to me that everything baby was centered around “biological” babies. I’m so thankful to Pink & Main for including adoptive parents in their Bundle of Joy stamp set!
Now let’s move on to the creative process behind my card! I wanted to create a one layer card, so I stamped the baby food, onsie, and bottle image from the Bundle of Joy stamp set onto my card and used some alcohol markers to color them in. I kept the colors relatively gender neutral so that I could pull out my card and send it to a friend regardless of their baby’s gender. The Bundle of Joy stamp set is absolutely WONDERFUL because all the sentiments are separate and you can build them however you want! I stamped my sentiment with black ink and added some black Nuvo Drops for extra embellishment.
Happy hello everyone… Annette Allen here with you today to share a fun sneak peek of the May release. You are going to LOVE this new release as we love them all every month. This release is full of Summer love.
I created a fun watercolor background and added some fun white and black splatters. Messy is fun… right? I die cut the Pink & Main: Pansy Die set multiple times to I can make more then one flower. They are so easy to put together. I adhered them to the card using foam adhesives. Finishing up the card with this pretty sentiment from the new Happily Ever After stamp set.
