Never Lose Hope

Hello crafty friends! It’s Donna here, and I’ve made a card to share with you today that uses a wide variety of Pink and Main products. My desk is a flurry of pink at the moment, with all the dies and packages still out!

I’ve created another butterfly card for you today using the beautiful butterflies from the Butterfly Cover Die as a focal point. I cut the bigger butterfly from the selection that comes with the cover dies using patterned papers from the Beach Babe and Sunrise collections.

I then mounted each of these butterflies onto a tag cut from the Arch Tag Dies. I used the smallest of the dies, and left them without a hole.

To create the background I cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and laid down a loose watercolour background across the area where the butterflies would sit, spattering the whole card with black.

The sentiment uses four different products. The sentiment comes from the You Can Fly stamp set, and was stamped in black and then heat embossed in clear. The sentiment strip was stamped using the Pattern Maker set, which has this beautiful houndstooth pattern, using Surface Ink in the colour ‘The Park‘ I used the tag from the Sunny Cover Dies to cut the strip, partially cutting each end of the strip to give the two ended banner that you see here. I did also trim the top and bottom of the sentiment to make it slightly narrower.

Finally, I assembled the card, using foam tape at every available opportunity! Extra dimension for the win!

I’ve loved working with all the butterfly goodness in this release. Butterflies allow for so much variation!

Until next time, happy crafting!

Donna
