How to use glimmer pastes for sugar white clouds on kraft card stock?
Hello, Everybody!
It’s Ksenija here and today I will share two cards that are spin off of my recent very Clean and Simple CARD.
Both today’s cards are made with the same Pink And Main supplies and with the same techniques. However, I used slightly different colour schemes and lay outs for them.
One card I am sharing here on the blog, the second you can check out on my blog HERE.
I started my card with die cutting an underlying mat from a red card stock and a kraft frame with a help of the Stitched Rectangles 2.
Then I created the buffalo print on the red mat with the Pattern Maker stamps set.
This is really easy and exciting to create own patterns. On my second card, which I am sharing on my blog I stamped the same pattern in different ink colours.
Next I stencilled three clouds with a help of the Clouds stencil.
To achieve this sugar white clouds colour I used two types of pastes. Please see my Youtube video HERE to learn how I made them.
To make the focal image of my card I used the Timber stamps and co-ordinating dies set.
The image was die cut and then stamped down in black alcohol friendly marker as my intention was to colour it with Copic markers.
The final step was to heat emboss Timber! twice on a black cardstock stripe.
To assemble my card I glued the red mat to the kraft frame and then foam mounted them to a red card note.
The lumberjack and two Timber! banners are popped up with a foam tape. For the word on the red mat I used two layers of a foam tape for extra dimension.
