Hello Rainbow

Hey lovelies, it is Tracy here with you today, I hope you’re all having a great week so far ?

There is no new release in December so the design team are sharing projects with their favourite products and one of mine has to be the Basket  cover die.

I LOVE cover dies as they are so versatile. I went with a rainbow themed card today and I hope you like it.

I started off creating the rainbow background which is an A2 top folding card base. I used Distress Inks to create the rainbow in the following colours-

Worn Lipstick

Candied Apple

Spiced Marmalade

Squeezed Lemonade

Twisted Citron

Tumbled Glass

Seedless Preserve

Whilst that dried I used the Basket die and cut two pieces of white card and adhered them together, this adds some dimension. I also used the Hello Dies and cut that out twice also, and cut the background piece from vellum.

Once everything was dry I adhered it all together, I also added some clear sparkle to the hello word.

I was going to add some glossy accents, or some sequins but didn’t want to take away from the background or the lovely die so I left it embellishment free.

As you can see you really don’t need to do  much with this die for it to look gorgeous.
