Happy Flippin’ Christmas

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with a fun and easy Christmas card I made using the Deck the palms stamp and die set from the new release. It is perfect for our friends who celebrate the winter holidays during their summer season.

I started with creating a custom background by stamping the little holly berry image all across a white piece of Copic friendly cardstock. I quickly coloured it in with alcohol markers just as the flip flops on a separate piece of paper. I used the coordinating die to cut that one out.

I die cut a big stitched rectangle from silver metallic cardstock and adhered the custom background to it. I also die cut a smaller stitched rectangle from metallic green cardstock and matted it with a silver scalloped rectangle.

I heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder and popped up the flip flops with 3D foam tape. To take the card to the next level, I added glossy accents to all the berries, also on the flip flop. It makes a huge difference, so shiny and special!

I hope you liked today’s inspiration and you will try to use your smaller stamps to make your own backgrounds. Until next time, happy crafting!

Zsofi
