Happy Camper

Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today sharing a card I created using one of the stamp sets from the November release..Happy Camper.

This is a fun and sweet stamp set with some great images to colour.

The card I’m sharing today has summer vibes to the colours I have used and I really enjoyed taking a break from winter themed cards.

I started off by creating the background which I use Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Solar Flare & Cherry Bomb, these are similar to the Ken Oliver color Burst powders, but they have a shimmer to them and are activated using water.

Whilst that was drying I stamped and coloured the Caravan, I wanted to match the background so used lots of Pinks & Yellows.

Making sure the background was fully dry I then used the new Stitched Rectangles 2 die set to cut out the background, I sued the 2nd largest die. At the same time I also used the Happy Camper Dies to die cut the caravan out. I then added the sentiment used black dye ink.

I adhered the caravan to the background using some foam tape for dimension. Picture below shows the sparkle from the powders.

I created an A2 top folding note card from some pink card stock and then adhered the panel to it. I did debate about adding some embellishments but didn’t want the card to seem to busy.

I can’t wait to play with this set some more.
