Hello and welcome back!! Laurie here, to share a pretty, floral friendship card with you today!! I love making these types of cards. It’s such a great way to let your friends know you care! Plus, who doesn’t love colouring floral images?!
I have been wanting to use the Thinking of You Always stamp set for some time now. I absolutely adore the style of these flowers! I paired it with some items from the latest release as well! What’s wonderful about this stamp set is the size! You can use the entire stamp or just a portion of it, as I did here.
I simply used one end of the stamp only. I coloured it up and fussy cut around it. For the background, I used one of the thin stripes from the new Pattern Maker Stamp Set and stamped it in a light grey ink repeatedly on the front of the card base.
The “friend” sentiment is from the Aloha Pineapple Stamp Set and fits perfectly with this design!! I love mixing and matching stamp sets!
I used a white gel pen to add some dot details to the flowers then foam mounted it onto the card base. A few clear sequins finish this card off!
