Crafty Friendship Card

Hello, crafty peeps and welcome!  Laurie here to share a fun card that would be perfect to send to a crafty friend!  This card also has a fun little twist to it, so let’s have a look, shall we?!

I started by embossing the new Eyelet Cover Die onto a 3.75X 5 inch piece of white cardstock. This is easy to do but to achieve this look, you MUST have an embossing mat. This is a piece of rubber that is part of your embossing “sandwich”. It prevents the die from cutting the paper!!

Now, here’s the twist. The main focal point is actually a card itself!! An itty-bitty little card which was SO MUCH FUN to make!! It measures 3 X 1.5 inches. And is the perfect size for a few of the images from the Crafty Stamp Set.

I decorated the front of the mini card the way I would a regular sized card. Embossing folder, sentiment strip and sequins!  On a side note, this is a very different colour combo for me but I was going through my markers to see if any needed refilling and basically stumbled across these greens.

Now, this is my favourite part of the card and the Crafty Stamp Set…the sentiment on the inside…

“Whoever said this is cheaper than therapy, never saw my craft room”  Who can relate to this?? With the amount of crafty goodness that I have amassed, I likely could have found a very good therapist, hahaha!!

The mini card was adhered with foam adhesive to the embossed panel and then glued directly to a light grey card base.  The cute crafty images were adhered with liquid adhesive. This still opens to a regular sized card where a message can be written.

For some added details, I used a clear shimmer pen and Glossy Accents.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today as much as I enjoyed making it!!

Have a fabulous day and I’ll see you soon…

Laurie
