Bundle of Joy

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with a couple sneak peeks into some of the new release items for Pink and Main. The new release is on May 20th and it definitely has a great variety of different things.

Today, I wanted to go with a pretty simple card and I think I accomplished that. I chose the stork image from Bundle of Joy and I’m sure you can guess what this set revolves around. I stamped this on a piece of white cardstock, masked it, and added a strip of color to depict the sky.

To create more of a sky scene, I pulled out the Rainbow Dies and used some of the cloud dies. I wanted to use a mix of mediums so I cut some clouds out using both vellum and white cardstock.

Since this card was pretty plain, I wanted to add the pop of color. Since I colored in the little “bundle” with pink, I pulled out a piece of pink patterned paper from the Back to Basics paper pad. I really love that this set contains very simple patterns in a variety of color. I trimmed down the main panel, so it’s matted on top of the card panel.

There is definitely an amazing variety of sentiments in this stamp set but I wanted to keep it really simple to match the vibe of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
