Bowtiful Ink Blending

Hi, everyone! It’s Lynnea! I have a couple of clean and simple ink blended cards using the new Bowtiful stamp set and some Pink & Main Surface Inks! These inks blend so well! These cards are so simple to make! Christmas is coming and I always give card sets as gifts and these would be PERFECT as a gift!

You could make similar cards using any shape dies you may have! This design would be perfect with a simple shape like a circle or square! I made one with Christmas colors and one with all occasion colors!

I used the Stitched Top Note dies and die cut the 3rd largest from masking paper. I adhered the masking paper in the center of a 4.25″ square card base and used some Pink & Main surface inks to ink around the mask creating a negative space where the masking paper was. I used On The Green and Riverwalk inks for my blending. I made sure that the ink was darkest near the edge of the mask and lighter as I blended out.

I stamped the sentiment and bows from the Bowtiful stamp set with Stop Sign and Salon inks. I decided to die cut the bows with the matching dies and pop them up with foam squares for some dimension, but you could just stamp them directly onto the card front creating a one layer card! I added some Wink of Stella on top of the bows and these cards are done! See you next time!
