Birthday Sewing Card

Hey, everyone! It’s Lynnea Hollendonner! There’s no new release from Pink & Main this month, so the rest of the design team and I are using some of our favorite products! And the Sewing stamp set is definitely one of my FAVORITES! I used to sew with my mom when I was a little girl and this stamp set somehow brings back all of those memories!

Since we are talking about favorites I decided to use one of my favorite color combos – pink and yellow! I blended some Fossilized Amber Distress Ink on to a piece of cardstock keeping the color heavier towards the outside and lighter towards the inside. I love how it gives a highlight to the center of the card! This card needed a little something to break up the background and my images, so I die cut some white cardstock with the Basket Cover die (one of my favorite background dies from this year!) and glued it on top of my inked background.

I stamped a bunch of images from the Sewing stamp set onto white heavy weight cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped a sentiment and trimmed it into a slanted edge for some interest.

Pink & Main has so many products that lend towards my clean and simple style! I love their background dies because they are so perfectly intricate and simple at the same time! I can’t wait to show you some of my other favorite products this month! I’ll see you next time!
