Hello Pink and Main Friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a super cute card for you today, using the almost released Starfish Wishes and Fintastic stamp sets, and coordinating die sets.
I used the cloud stencil to ink blend the waves. By using the stencil upside down, you can get double the use out of it! Once I had stencilled the whole panel, I cut it out using the largest of the Stitched Rectangles 2 dies. The fish and starfish were stamped in Copic friendly ink, and then coloured. I used yellows through to reds, because as the complimentary colours to the blues, I knew my cuties would really stand out.
I actually made two slightly different versions of this card, all just minor differences. I can’t believe how much difference the smallest of white borders makes to the overall look of the card. You can also see in the picture below the range of inks that I used to make the ombré sea.
I just know these summer cuties are going to be so popular! They’re absolutely adorable.
