Hello! It’s Donna here and I have an almost one layer card to share with you today. Only the sentiment has been popped up.
I first stamped these absolutely adorable images from the Season of Change stamp set onto a piece of Bristol Smooth paper in a waterproof ink. I have just purchased my first Zig Clean Color markers so I was keen to have a try with those.
I ink blended the background with the images masked, then spattered it with clear water (which I blotted up) and Perfect Pearls (which I left to dry). I then removed the masks, and coloured the images with the Zigs.
I also coloured a little shadow under each image to ground them.
The main panel has been cut with my absolute mainstay stitched rectangle die. I use this die on almost every card I make!
To make the sentiment, I first blended ink onto some white paper so it would match the sky. I used the hello friend sentiment from the Fall Friends stamp set, and cut the smallest of the Stitched Top Note dies to give it that lovely shape.
This is a card that I will find it hard to part with!
