Autumn Greetings

Hey everyone it is Tracy here with you today and I am beyond excited at the latest release. Michelle has created yet another awesome release and being a huge fan of things autumn (and coffee) I was so excited when it dropped through my letterbox.

One of the main things I am excited about is an awesome new die called Wreath Base dies which is what it sounds like, it a basic wreath shape (there is also a fab Hello word die included in the set) and there will be add on dies to go with the seasons to work with the wreath, the first one is Fall Wreath decor dies and it includes so beautiful leaf and autumn themed dies, as well as some halloween themed dies. The funny thing about this die is that I actually had an idea about a die like this several months ago so I am so glad that Michelle had the same idea and brought it to life because this die is a must have in my opinion.

Can you tell I am excited about this release yet ?

For my card I went full on autumn and had so much fun.

I started out by die cutting all the elements from the Fall Wreath Decor set that I wanted to use and using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens coloured them all in and left to dry.

Whilst they were drying I used Distress Oxide inks and inked up two pieces of Neenah solar white card, I added some water droplets and also added some Spectrum Noir Sparkle splatter too so that it tied in with the elements.

I then heat embossed a sentiment from another new set (which is insanely cute) Called Full Friends. onto a piece of Kraft card that I trimmed to just under A2 size.

Once the Oxide pieces of card were dry I used the wreath die to cut out two wreaths which I then adhered to the kraft card panel, with the second wreath I made sure to curl some of the leafs to add dimension.

I then randomly adhered all the elements, I didn’t pay much attention to where I adhered stuff, and now looking back I would have added a few more leaves.

I love the embossed detailing on the pumpkins and acorns, and look at all the sparkle.

Once everything was dry I adhered the whole piece to a dark red A2 top folding notecard.

The new release goes live on 20th August and you will be able to find it by clicking here.

Make sure you check out the blog everyday up until then for lots of inspiration from my lovely team mates.

Also don’t forget to share your Pink & Main creations with us on our Facebook group.

Have a great day and happy crafting.
