A Very Merry Un-Birthday!

Hello friends, it’s Ashley back on the blog today and I have a colorful and fun card to share! For this card I used the Wonderland stamp and die set as well as the Tea-riffic stamp set.

First I stamped the images of Alice and the Mad Hatter and colored them in with Copic markers. I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next I masked off a strip on a piece of Bristol Smooth paper. I blended along that strip with some Distress Oxide inks. I flicked some water on the ink and soaked it up with a paper towel to create some water droplet texture. I then stamped along that strip with some of the silhouette images in the Tea-riffic stamp set with similar colors of Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped a sentiment from the Wonderland set under the colorful blended strip with black ink. I then popped up the images of Alice and the Mad Hatter above that. I adhered that entire panel to an A2 size card base with foam tape.

To finish up the card I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details. I also added some raindrop embellishments.
