A Diggity Dog Party with Catitude

Hello there! It’s Jeannie, back with another card to share. I really love the two stamp sets from July, Diggity Dog and Catitude, so I really had to pull them out again.

Since there are so many images from this set, I wanted to use as many as possible and I couldn’t achieve the same look with a normal A2 sized card. For this particular card, the dimensions are 8.75 x 4.25, which will fit into a regular A10 envelope.

I did a lot of masking to create this scene but I think it was sooooooo worth it. I used distress inks to help color up the background.

I also decided to splatter some metallic watercolors on the background and sprayed it with some glimmer spray. It added a lot of texture to the background. It’s really subtle, and I realized that the paper towel I used left a bit of an imprint. Totally unintentional, but I kinda liked it.

Since this was a pretty large card, I wanted to use a large sentiment to match. I pulled out the Congrats die because this group is perfect for celebrating an achievement. I die cut it using white cardstock and I love how it pops against the ground.
