Whimsy In Wonderland

Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I love a little bit of whimsy in wonderland and the Something Whimsy 6×6 paper pad and the Wonderland stamp set work perfectly together.

First of all the darling little girl in this stamp set is just too cute for words. I used my Copic markers to color her and a few mushrooms for my card. Once they were colored I used the coordinating Wonderland die cuts to cut them out. I set them aside to start working on my background.

I love the green plaid paper in the Something Whimsy 6×6 paper pad. I cut down a few pieces for my card. I trimmed out a smaller piece and layered it on top of red card stock. I love the green and red together. Next I pulled out my Thin Fish Tail banner dies and die cut out five small banner. I used a sharp needle to make a hole on the top of each one to run some twine through. Now it was time to assemble the card.

I placed one of the green plaid panels down on a white card base keeping it to the right of the card. Before I placed down the red layered piece I made sure to stamp out my sentiment. I popped this layer in the middle of the card. I added the banner with foam tape. I glued down the mushrooms however I popped up the little girl with foam dots for added interest.

To finish off the card I colored a few of the silver glossy dots in red and green to match my paper. I placed a few around the card and also along the banners to cover up the holes I made to pull the twine through. I felt I needed to add some white to the card so I did some faux sticking with a .10 gelly roll pen. That’s a wrap on this adorable little card. So how would you use the Something Whimsy 6×6 paper pad and Wonderland stamp set together? Let me know in the comments. We would love to see you creations over on the Pink and Main Gallery page on Facebook. Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll see you back here soon.
