Hey everyone. It’s Dana with another card using the amazing products from the May 2019 release. I have to say I’m really giddy over my card today as it just brings a smile to my face. So let’s get into the card shall we?
I used the newly released Bright Side stamp set and coordinating dies for my card today. I colored this beautiful rainbow with Copic markers in rainbow 🌈 order. I love the curve of this rainbow and the little clouds as anchors. Just a gorgeous design detail. I also stamped and colored a sun to sit behind my rainbow.
I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and added it to a piece of rainbow paper I made using alcohol inks and yupo paper. I ran the colorful background through my Gemini Jr. with a dotted embossing folder for texture. To keep this card simple, I did not add any additional sequins but I did add some clear circle dew drops.
Adding the sentiment across my colorful panel gave the rainbow a place to sit. The sun is glued to my background however the rainbow is popped up with foam dots. For a little bit of shimmer I added Wink Of Stella to the rainbow and sun.
This stamp set is takes me to a happy place. You could easily use this card for birthday, anniversary or just to send to a friend. That rainbow also makes a fabulous background if you stamp it multiple times onto white cardstock and then color it. Oh and watercoloring it will give it a totally different look if you keep it soft.
